End-of- Month Reset

One of my favorite ways to prepare for a new month is by doing an end-of-month reflection. During this time, I look at my progress toward my goals and any challenges and think about what I would do differently for the upcoming month. Taking this time to reflect helps me gain clarity and approach the month ahead more intentionally. I will walk you through my 3 step process of resetting for a new month.

  1. Reflect on what went well.

Taking the time to think about what went well this month allows me to start on a positive note. This naturally causes a boost of positive emotions and gratitude. It also gives me insight into what is working so that I can incorporate that into the upcoming month.

      2. Reflect on challenges and lessons learned.

Challenges are a natural part of the process and should be expected. Challenges help us to be more resilient. Reflecting on the lessons learned from challenges equips us with information to apply going forward. Take time out to reflect on your challenges without judgment. Simply reflect on what you learned.

3.What will you do differently next month?

With the information you gained from what went well and the challenges. You now have insight into what to do more or less in the upcoming month. Don’t strive for perfection but minor tweaks that you can make to begin to see changes.
